II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:
The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a provider to supply financial products for a period of 3 years (with the option to extend by an additional 2 years) to enhance our ability to acquire new or upgraded systems and equipments. Financial Products will include, in the main, IAS17 compliant Leases.

This facility will be extended to a broad spectrum of products/projects and will include, amongst others, IT Hardware and Software, Clinical Support Equipments covering all medical disciplines (i.e. Analysers, X Ray Devices, Microscopes etc), minor Infrastructure projects etc.

The facility will also require the provider to potentially secondary lease equipments (at agreed residual values) on the expiry of existing agreements. Currently there are 23 such agreements in place with expiries ranging up to 2016. The overall value of these agreements is:

Value at Inception - 4,252,872
Residual Value - 737,392

At this stage, the overall value of this provision required is uncertain however it is expected to be circa 10,000,000 over the initial period. It should be noted that this indication is not a firm commitment to that value.

The successful provider will also be expected to:

Deliver an indicative modelling tool to the Trust to aid in the business case financial options appraisal of individual projects.
Deliver training and advice on leasing options to nominated Trust staff (who may or may not have a financial background)
