II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:
The objective of this tender is to establish a Nutritional Supply Service for the Acute and Community requirements for NHS Hillingdon. The contract excludes activity for Oral Nutritional Supplements generated from General Practitioner FP10 activity for non home Enteral feeding patients.

The expectation of this Contract is for the Trusts to receive their feeds and consumables for each of their hospital sites and a Homecare Delivery Service for patients registered with Hillingdon GPs including those who live outside the Borough of Hillingdon but who are registered with a Hillingdon GP.

If patients are discharged outside the boundaries specified above the Homecare Delivery Service may be required to provide a service to those patients (if the receiving Trusts are in agreement).

The final part of the expectation is that the provider must support this services by means of employed resource (Mon-Fri) at HEF Patient residences and primary and secondary healthcare locations, 24/7/365 Telephonic Support, Provision of literature (in multi- lingual, Large Print and/or Braille formats), a HEF Prescription Collection Service, and the utilisation of an N compliant Electronic Patient Registration System (with detailed Management Reporting functions).
